    Personal Information

Aimée is an independent, enthusiastic, and ambitious student-athlete from the Netherlands. In the summer of 2026, she moved with her family to Downingtown, Pennsylvania, where she quickly adapted to a new country, school system, hockey environment, and social setting. Her willingness to embrace this major transition reflects her confidence, maturity, and determination to continue developing both academically and athletically.

In addition to being a dedicated field hockey player, Aimée has demonstrated strong leadership skills. Before moving to the United States, she served as the head coach of a U12 team at BMHV for three consecutive seasons. In this role, she independently prepared and led training sessions, clearly explained exercises, motivated the players, and helped create a positive and focused team environment. This experience strengthened her communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Aimée graduated from HAVO in the Netherlands in June 2026. HAVO is a five-year college-preparatory secondary education program that provides direct access to universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. After moving to the United States, she enrolled at Downingtown West High School in Pennsylvania, where she is currently completing a challenging academic program consisting primarily of Advanced Placement classes. She is also on track to begin earning dual-enrollment college credits.

Downingtown West has calculated her NCAA core-course GPA at approximately 3.3. Her Dutch academic records are currently being formally evaluated and converted for use in the American university admissions process. Aimée expects to graduate from Downingtown West High School in 2028 and hopes to continue combining a strong education with competitive field hockey at an American university.

    Athletic Information

Aimée is a driven and team-oriented player who is always looking for ways to improve. She is open to feedback, takes responsibility on the field, and brings energy, competitiveness, leadership, and a strong work ethic to every team she represents.

She is a versatile forward and attacking midfielder who began playing field hockey at the age of six. She spent ten years at BMHV in Baarn, the Netherlands, where she progressed through the club’s youth program and competed at Subtopklasse level with the Girls U16 team. This is the second-highest regional level in Dutch youth field hockey. During her time at BMHV, she developed a strong technical foundation and learned to read the game within the tactically focused Dutch hockey system.

Aimée finished as the leading goal scorer for her BMHV team and is capable of both creating and finishing scoring opportunities. She combines strong ball control and passing skills with intelligent movement, supportive runs off the ball, and effective positioning inside and around the circle. She has a powerful and accurate shot, can finish quickly in tight spaces, and is also experienced as the inserter on attacking penalty corners.

As an attacking midfielder, Aimée communicates actively, helps organize the players around her, and is comfortable creating opportunities from deeper positions. As a forward, she uses her speed, positioning, and attacking instincts to find space and put pressure on opposing defenses. She works hard within a high press and understands the importance of maintaining the team’s defensive shape.

Before moving to the United States, Aimée completed fourteen weeks of individual training with Erik Stigter, a former professional field hockey player. These sessions focused on her technical execution, shooting, positioning, off-ball movement, penalty-corner inserts, and effectiveness within an attacking press.

Following her move to Pennsylvania in the summer of 2026, Aimée joined both Downingtown West High School and WC Eagles Field Hockey Club. She immediately entered an intensive American training and competition environment and adapted quickly to the increased physical demands and a new style of play. Her experience in both the Dutch and American hockey systems has made her adaptable, coachable, and comfortable taking on different attacking roles.
