Athletic Information

Iris is a right-footed central defender. She started playing soccer at the age of seven and has not stopped since. From the beginning, she received good technical training, mastering the basic movements thoroughly. Iris felt comfortable playing in the backfield. She also played as a left and right center-back for a while but often remained a defensive midfielder. This has allowed her to develop a strong understanding of the game. She knows how to coordinate with the back line as the last defender and moves well to create space for an attack—a true playmaker.

Iris is physically strong. Since she was fourteen, she has often substituted for the women’s team, competing against older players. Along with her speed, this makes her very effective on the ball. She knows when to act and is highly motivated to perform her tasks well. She appreciates feedback and believes it is important to follow advice carefully. Iris thinks one of the best moments in a match is executing a good one-two pass that allows her to effortlessly outplay several opponents.
