    Personal Information

    Madelief (20) was born and raised in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where she grew up with her parents, an older brother, and a younger sister. She is an energetic and highly motivated student-athlete who is driven to continuously develop herself, both on and off the field.

    In addition to soccer, Madelief is a social and positive person who enjoys spending time with friends and being part of a close team environment.

    She graduated from high school in July 2024 and enrolled at Grace College in Fall 2024. Madelief is currently in her sophomore year and is on track to graduate in May 2028. She is majoring in Sport Business and holds a strong cumulative GPA of 3.7. This season, she was recognized as an Academic Honorees All-American, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence.

    After a successful start to her collegiate career, Madelief is now exploring a transfer opportunity with the goal of competing at a higher athletic level while continuing to pursue her academic ambitions.

    Athletic Information

    Madelief began playing soccer at the age of five and developed through the Dutch football system at a high level. During her junior years, she competed at the national division level with boys until the age of 15, which significantly contributed to her technical development, game speed, and physical resilience.

    She was selected for the KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association) Youth Plan Team for more than five years, reflecting her long-term recognition at the national level. In addition, Madelief played for the first women’s team of Eldenia, competing in the second-highest national women’s league in the Netherlands.

    Currently, Madelief plays for Grace College, which is ranked #12 nationally in the NAIA and #3 in the Crossroads League. She was part of the squad that won the Crossroads League Tournament and advanced to the NAIA National Championship in Florida. Throughout the season, Madelief emerged as a game leader in multiple matches, contributing 3 goals while playing a key role in the midfield.

    Madelief is a dynamic and technical midfielder known for her strong passing ability, endurance, and work rate. She is confident on the ball, capable of covering large distances during a match, and possesses a strong tactical understanding of the game. Her positioning and decision-making allow her to consistently be in the right place at the right time.

    She is effective at switching the point of attack and frequently creates goal-scoring opportunities for forwards with well-timed passes and accurate crosses into the final third.
