Personal and Academic Information

Tarass is a 18 year old guy who enjoys any kind of sport. He first played soccer for about 8 years, before starting to play tennis at age 11. Tarass quickly expressed the will to train more and start competing. Since he started playing competitively, tennis became his passion and main point of interest. 

Tarass is currently in his senior year of high school (holding a 3.0 GPA) and is expected to graduate in June 2015.  He has is scheduled to take the SAt in January and TOEFL in February of 2015.

After high school he would now like to take the opportunity to play College Tennis in order to follow his passion while getting a good business degree. 

 

Athletic information

During his junior career, Tarass was state champion (2012) and has also competed at the national championships.  In  addition to the individual tournaments, Tarass has also been competing for years in club championships for CT Neuchâtel, including in “LNC” which is an open national league. Tarass is currently ranked among the top 200 players in the Swiss open national ranking.

Tarass has a solid all court game and he likes to play very aggressive in order to come forward and finish up points at the net. His favorite shot is his forehand which he likes to use to pressure his opponents but his also steady backhand allows him to finish up points. His is also known amongst his peers to be a hard worker, and a tough fighter who will never give up.

Very dedicated to tennis, Tarass is willing to continue work hard to fully exploit his potential. Currently, his trains about 10 hours a week, on top of 3 hours of physical conditioning, and competes in average in 25 tournaments per year. Tarass also took part to many training camps in France in Spain in the past years.
