Elwyn Asiedu is a driven 19-year-old athletic student who is born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Elwyn passed the GED in June 2019 and enrolled into Arizona Western College in August 2019. At AWC Elwyn is majoring in sports management and passed 21 credits with a GPA of 3.4 in his Fall semester and is currently taking 27 credits. Elwyn will complete his associate's degree in December of 2020 and he is looking to continue his education in spring of 2021. He will have 3 more years of eligibility left.
Athletic information
Elwyn is a very strong 6’4, 195 lbs, central defender with a good overview of the game. Elwyn has strong defensive tackles and stamina for long distance battles. Elwyn is strong at the ball, blocking shots, tackling and intercepting passes. This all accounts for Elwyn to be a great team player and motivating force within his soccer team.
Elwyn had a very successful first season at AWC in which they one both the regional as well as District Championship for the first time in Arizona Western College history. As a result they also qualified for the NJCAA national Championship for the first time in AWC history. Elwyn appeared in 9 games of which he started one time.
