Personal and academic information

Patrick is a  18-year-old boy who is been born and raised in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Raised up and still living in Leeuwarden with his parents and older brother. 

In addition to soccer Patrick loves to listen to older music and to hang out with friends. He also really enjoys coaching kids under the age of 6 at his soccer club de Zwaluwen. He also likes socializing having hour long conversations about world issues and politics.

Patrick will graduated high school (HAVO level) in June of 2020. He scored a 88 on the TOEFL and is scheduled to take the Sat in Fall of 2020. He is looking to pursue a degree in (International) Businesses

Athletic information

Patrick has been playing soccer old at the same club since he was only 4 years old. During his junior career he has always played in the highest teams in his age group. He was coaches by Sipke Hulshoff (current coach of SC Cambuur) and Johan Groote (most capped player and interim trainer of SC Cambuur).

In his under 13 team he became 4th of The Netherlands, competing against professional youth clubs. The last two years he and his team became the undefeated champions for two consecutive years in a row ('Hoofdklasse" U-17 level)  with 42 wins in 44 games. Patrick was the top scorer in both seasons. During these two years they have also won the Leeuwarden Championship cup for two consecutive years.

Patrick and his team also have played internationally. They have competed at the Gothiacup in Sweden (a high level tournament where players like Xabi Alonso, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pirlo and many more have also used to play) and reached the final of the the Esjberg tournament in Denmark.

Patrick is a technical striker with a real eye for the goal. He is very dangerous in the penalty area and knows where to position. Patrick is a playmaker and a goal scorer in the attack. Last season Patrick scored 25 goals and recorded 18 assists in 17 games he played. PatrickÔÇÖs coach compares his style with that Pippo  Inzaghi or Harry Kane. 

This season Patrick is playing for the highest U19 team, for the U-21 team and also for the first men's team where Patrick already made his debut.
