Personal and Academic Information

Robert is a 17-year old soccer player who lives in Badhoevedorp, The Netherlands. He has been involved in sports ever since he was 5years old, playing basketball and tennis. Throughout his youth Robert has travelled to many countries (including the United States) and therefore experienced many different cultures.

Robert attends the highest level of high school in the Netherlands and he will graduate in June of 2012. He is scheduled to take both his SAT exam in December of 2011 and his TOEFL exam in January of 2012. Upon completion of these exams, he will be eligible to compete in the NCAA and NAIA. Robert's dream is now to combine soccer and studying in the USA

Athletic Information

Robert has played soccer for his hometown club called: ‘Pancratius’ since the age of five. He played as a central midfielder for the u-14 and u-16 teams scoring 20 goals in 60 matches. Robert is currently playing for the u-19 team and switched from midfielder to central defender.

Roberts strengths are:

  • Excellent ball control and shooting ability in both legs
  • Regular goal scoring from free kick positions
