Personal Information

Lars is a 18 year old guy who is addicted to the game of basketball. Lars has a calm personality of the court. However once he is on the basketball court, he will do everything in his power to win. Lars is next to a great athlete also oustanding academicly.

Athletic Information

The love for this game started at the age of 6 and Lars always played with older guys. At the age of 15 Lars played as a starter in the highest level Under 20  (eredivise) for Haaglanden Royals. At the age of 16 he played Under 20 Eredivisie as well as promotion division (with the adults) for  CBV Binnenland. Lars was chosen All Star of the Under 20 division and his team in promotion division finished 2nd in the league. Lars was also called MVP of The Hague school league in 2010.

Lars has been a member of the Dutch national team for the last 5 years where he plays point guard. His strong points are his fast drive with ball to the basket and finish (even with contact),good overall defense and a good shot. Lars  also has very good passing skills, great court awereness and shows floor leadership.

Academic Information

Lars graduated from high school in June 2012 at the highest level of study in the Netherlands. Since becomming a professional basketball player is a dream of Lars, he is looking for a university that can improve his basketball game. He will take his SAT exam in the fall of 2012 and should be eligible to compete at any collegiate level for the Sring/Fall of 2012
