Eva was born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands. From the age of 5 she has played for HDM and was national champion under 18. At the age of 17 she was awarded a full scholarship to play Division 1 Field Hockey at the University of North Carolina. Throughout her 4-year career, she won the Atlantic Coast Conference 3 times and the National Championship in 2018. Eva graduated with a Bachelor degree in communication and a minor in social and economic justice in May 2019. She is currently playing for Dames 1 at her old field hockey club HDM in the Hoofdklasse.
