Colt, born and raised in Georgia was awarded a full scholarship to play tennis at Louisiana State University. Throughout his college career, Colt was named all american (2008), reached a top 3 national ranking in doubles and reached the quarter finals of the NCAA tournament.

After College Colt played on the ATP tour for 2 years where he reached a top 500 ranking.  In the past year he has traveled with Ryan Harrison and Donald Young (currently in the top 100 ATP) and coached Edina Gallovits-Hall (top 100 in the WTA rankings). Colt has great experience with the recruiting process and has helped over 20 players achieve Division 1 scholarships. He will be responsible for the the southern part of the United States
