Marc was born in Venezuela and raised in Switzerland. He was awarded an athletic scholarship to play tennis at Berry College in Rome, GA. Throughout his college career, Marc reached a top-10 national ranking in doubles and was named All-Conference player in 2005.

After receiving his bachelor's degree from Berry College, Marc went on to pursue his Master's degree in Marketing, Communications and Services from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. Prior to founding MADE Scholarships, Marc has been working in the financial service industry with UBS as well as Man Investments.
